Surprisingly, this was quite literally the last animated series I watched in 2024. I didnโt expect much, but it turned out to be smart, funny, and satirical in ways that caught me off guard. The voice work is absolutely amazing, I canโt imagine these characters without their voices in my head. Itโs a top-notch effort that far surpasses Pixarโs earlier attempt at a TV series, Monsters at Work.
At the heart of the series is Paula Persimmon, voiced by the talented Paula Pell. As an acclaimed dream director, Paula faces the daunting task of adapting to Riley's evolving psyche as she transitions from childhood to adolescence.
