Today marks the start of ACE 005, our 5th class at Alpha Chromatica Education (ACE), and I am excited to welcome four promising students to our growing VFX community.

Three of them join us from Vancouver, where I have had the privilege of teaching for 15 years, and the fourth is joining us remotely all the way from Peru.

This class is extra special for me because it is the 31st one I have taught overall and very likely the last course I will be leading in North America and especially here in Canada.

For those who know me and my journey, teaching VFX in Vancouver has been an incredible and rewarding chapter, and I am both proud and humbled by the countless talented artists I have had the honor of guiding.

Over the coming weeks, we will dive into advanced digital compositing and push a few boundaries in visual effects.
