Chroma 0049
While I was browsing thru LinkedIn, I came across this Job post.
"Need a very experienced VFX artist, for a film. Must be very talented, and need to apply with the IMDb profile, containing at least 5 titles. The pay would be reasonable and low, and would need to clear 3 test shots, before receiving the production shots. IMDb credits will be offered. Take care."
This is the equivelent of walking into KFC, and a customer demands to know how many chickens you've fried before even considering placing an order. Then they challenge you: "Fry three pieces just how I like them. Do it right, and maybe I'll buy from you and certainly at a lower price" Oh, and they expect you to be grateful for the 'opportunity.'
A word of caution here: steer clear of these Narcissistic Psycho Recruiters. If they're this high-maintenance now, imagine the headaches you'll endure later. Remember, your skills and time are worth more than a bargain bucket!
