Someone remarked on Facebook, the group photo we captured in front of MPC Vancouver. It was a special moment for me as an instructor, leading my very first VFX class on a tour of MPC for the first time.
This was my reply.

We all have to work, so that we can eat and play.
Every student who is going to any sort of school really ought to be asking is whether or not the school they are going to actually cares about their career development.
Software is easy enough to learn these days, I will be the first to admit it. It all comes down to having someone sit down with you and give you an honest and sensible critic about the work u do."
I like to believe that this is all I've been doing for my students over the years.
