The Power of Choice in this age of Digital Conversations.

LinkedIn, a platform teeming with professional insights and debates, often presents us with a peculiar challenge: the allure of controversial, click bait posts. It's an interesting space where opinions clash and conversations unfold in unexpected ways.

When I come across these posts, I often find myself pausing. The post is provocative, designed to elicit reactions, your classic click bait. As I read through the comments, it is a blend of agreements and stark oppositions.

Here's where I make a conscious choice: I don't comment.

For me, it's not always necessary for others to know what I believe in. This personal stance stems from a simple philosophy: my beliefs are my own, and they don't always need a public platform for validation or debate.

Most of these engagements are futile. For many, sharing and defending their viewpoints in these spaces is meaningful. But for me, the choice to not engage is rooted in a preference for more personal, direct conversations.

If someone approaches me and asks about my thoughts on a matter, I'm more inclined to share in a one-on-one setting than to enter into arguments with strangers online.

This approach might not resonate with everyone. For some, the lively debates on click bait posts are invigorating, an opportunity to challenge and be challenged. For me, the choice to observe, reflect, and move on is more aligned with my interaction style.

Navigating LinkedIn, therefore becomes easier. For those who, like me, prefer to keep their opinions closer to the chest, remember: it's okay.

Our beliefs don't always need the amplification of a public forum. Sometimes, the most meaningful exchanges come from quiet, thoughtful conversations, away from the fervent pace of online debates.
