To be fair, I wasn't ready for this. I saw a thumbnail of Jawan and thought, "Oh cool, a new Shah Rukh Khan movie. I'll watch maybe 10 minutes with my Dad and then get back to work."

Instead, I ended up eating all the murukku that was meant for Deepavali while watching two Shah Rukh Khans kick ass. We didn't even pause the movie once; we watched it in one sitting! It was almost 3 hours long!

The color grading, the slow-mo cinematography, the action set pieces, the environment work, and that damn soundtrack! I felt Bollywood really leveled up here. They made no apologies for what it is; Bollywood, Babes, and Badassery.It's currently on Netflix if you're curious.
